About Venusto Salon

Venusto Salon, which means to be beautify, adorn and make lovely, was founded by Diana Rascon in 2013. Diana moved to Los Alamos with her parents, from El Paso when she was only a toddler. She graduated from Los Alamos High School and, having an interest in styling hair, decided to attend Olympian University of Cosmetology in Albuquerque, NM. It’s here where she discovered her passion for styling and coloring hair. After graduating from Olympian she moved away to El Paso, where she interned at both a beauty salon and a barber shop and where she obtained her Texas Cosmetologist License. It is her internship at the spa where Diana says, “I learned everything I did NOT want to do at my salon.” She moved back to Los Alamos in 2013 where her dream of opening a salon came true. Venusto Hair Salon is born. Diana excels in colors and use of new and innovating products to give her clients the best and vibrant colors and styles. She continually works at learning the newest techniques and up and coming styles. She has been to Mexico City and traveled around the contry to continue her education.
